Apex Legends Mobile beta testing is slated to start later this month on the Android platform. The game will follow a regional beta testing formula where India and the Philippines are the first countries who will get to experience Apex Legends Mobile beta. In due time other regions will get closed beta access later this year.

Will Apex Legends Mobile feature cross-play with other versions of the game?

Sadly, Apex Legends Mobile will not feature cross-play support with others versions of the game. May it be PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Switch.

This is an official piece of information shared in a blog post announcing the game’s regional beta testing commencement by Apex Legends game director Chad Grenier.

Apex Legends is a game that features cross-platform support till now. PC and Console players can easily play with each other. However, according to Grenier, “Apex Legends Mobile is being built especially for mobile.”, “So it won’t feature cross-play with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends.”

Apex Legends is a free to play battle royale game currently available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platform. The mobile version of the game is currently in the works with beta testing starting Spring 2021.
