There have been plenty of pretty surprising game announcements lately, but none of them has been as surprising as Dead by Daylight: Hooked on You. While we did know that a dating sim based on the great multiplayer game by Behaviour Interactive was coming, seeing it in action for the first time was almost as shocking as getting ambushed by a vicious killer in Dead by Daylight.
Seeing how Dead by Daylight is available on every current gaming platform, many are wondering if it will be the same for Dead by Daylight: Hooked on You. Let’s find out if this is the case, and if the dating simulation will make its way onto the Nintendo Switch.
Is Dead by Daylight: Hooked on You Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Dead by Daylight: Hooked on You was officially announced in May 2022 during the Dead by Daylight 6th Anniversary stream. During the event, it was revealed that the dating simulation will release on PC sometime this Summer, and no other version has been announced. As such, it seems like those who want to play Hooked on You as soon as it becomes available won’t have any other choice but to get it on PC.
The fact that Dead by Daylight: Hooked on You may not be coming to Nintendo Switch this Summer shouldn’t be too worrying. As the main game did not make its way onto the console until years after it launched on PC, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Hooked on You launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop later in 2022 or even in 2023. Given how the game is likely not going to be particularly demanding, there shouldn’t be any technical reason preventing Hooked on You from launching on the Nintendo Switch.
