While we couldn’t trace the exact origin of the rumor, it can be deduced that it likely started back when he made a bid to purchase Twitter for 44 billion dollars. This deal never seemed to go through, though it seemed to be seriously in the works for a while, with Twitter’s shareholders having recently approved the offer. While that is still unconfirmed, the rumor of him buying Roblox comes with a more straightforward answer.
The Truth Of The Matter
Ultimately, there is no concrete evidence that the billionaire is buying Roblox, showing that the rumor is merely a case of people having fun on the internet. The man himself has not made any tweets hinting at it or any offers to buy it. Realistically, a gaming platform like Roblox does not have the same value to a businessman as something universal like Twitter, which is why it will likely stay a rumor.
