Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a new game that allows players to dive deeper into all nine episodes of the game whilst visiting all the iconic locations.
Starting off the game solo is quite nice, but when you realize you have to explore 24 planets, you might start to feel the need to have a partner with whom you can go through the game’s adventures.
So in this article, we’ll be answering your question on whether Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes with a multiplayer mode.
Is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Multiplayer?
Short answer, yes. The game comes with a local multiplayer mode, this means you can play with a nearby friend but cannot play with players around the world in online multiplayer. The game’s developers shared a post on Twitter that confirmed this.

Although if you’re playing on PC, you might be able to play the game online with another friend using Steam Remote Play. The lack of an online co-op mode in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga doesn’t come off as a surprise as the majority of Lego titles usually do not support this feature.
However, the absence of an online co-op remains disappointing as it would’ve sufficed better for players if they had the choice of playing either a local co-op or online co-op, rather than being stuck with a local co-op.
