At Minecraft Live 2021, Mojang held a mob vote to decide the next mob coming to their phenomenal title. Allay won the mob vote 2021 by defeating Copper Golem and Glare. This adorable mob is planned to arrive with the upcoming major Minecraft 1.19 update, titled The Wild Update.
Allay is a tiny music-loving flying mob that collects items and drops them near their owner or jukebox. Since the 1.19 update development has already begun, Bedrock players might be wondering if Allay has been added yet or not.
Is Allay added to Minecraft Bedrock Edition?
In the case of The Wild Update, Bedrock Edition seems to be the first to receive several new experimental features. After getting frogs and froglight, Minecraft Bedrock Edition now also has the Allay. Players can download Minecraft Bedrock Beta 1.18.30.22 or Preview 1.08.30.23.
To spawn the Allay, players will first have to create a new world with The Wild Update toggle on under experimental features. In this new world, players can get Allay spawn eggs from the creative menu.
Allay can also be found naturally in the Overworld. The Allay spawns in woodland mansions and pillager outposts as per the patch notes. Players can free the trapped Allay in prison cells and take them away from abductors. You can make an Allay follow you by giving it an item to hold.
The Allay holds an item and looks for the same items in the nearby areas. After collecting, it comes back to the player and drops gathered items. The Allay can also drop items at nearby note blocks.
