Nippon Ichi and Falcom have been supporting the Nintendo Switch console quite well, releasing all of their most recent games on it in a timely manner. The Legend of Heroes series had yet to make the jump, but this will finally happen next Spring.
NISA confirmed that The Legend of Heroes: Trails Of Cold Steel III will be released on Nintendo Switch sometime during Spring 2020. The new version of the game will be identical to the PlayStation 4 version, which has been released two months ago in the West, so those getting the game on Switch will be able to get the full experience.
Welcome to the New Class VII – Explore the newly annexed lands of the Empire with a brand new squad, and catch up with familiar faces from the past.
An Immersive Story – Experience an epic story developed across three titles, and crafted for new and old fans alike. Also includes an interactive introduction to catch up new players to the ongoing story so anyone can dive right in to the world of Trails of Cold Steel.
Combat Honed to a Fine Edge – Challenge oncoming threats with a combat system that has been refined over the course of decades. The addition of features like Brave Order and the Break System opens up new possibilities in battle.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Of Cold Steel III is the direct continuation of the previous two games, which haven’t been announced for Switch. This is due to publishing rights, as the first two entries in the series, as well as the three Trails in the Sky games, have been published by XSEED, so if there is ever going to be a Nintendo Switch release of these games, it will be up to them.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Of Cold Steel III launches on Nintendo Switch during Spring 2020.
