Jurassic World Alive has been released worldwide, giving us the chance to collect various dinosaurs roaming freely around us, build awesome dino teams and battle against other players for worldwide supremacy. And we’re here to make it all easier by sharing a bunch of Jurassic World Alive cheats and tips with you.
I wasn’t really expecting this game to be as good as it is right now. Although we could call it “Pokemon Go meets dinosaurs,” the game is actually a lot better mainly because of the fights that are usually intense and truly amazing.
But we’re not here to praise the game (although it deserves a ton of praise), but check out some Jurassic World Alive tips and tricks in our complete strategy guide. So let’s get started and do just that!
You need a good device to play the game
We’ll start with an important thing to have in mind: you do need a good device to play the game properly.
Because I wanted to progress faster (or so I thought) I also installed the game on my backup phone – and older LG G4, but still a good device in my opinion.
However, the game was very laggy and choppy on the device and especially hunting for dinosaur DNA was extremely difficult as the choppiness made it even more difficult to land those perfect shots.
So if you have the option to play on a more powerful device, definitely do so as parts of the game will be a lot easier.
Don’t worry about wasting darts
Although you shouldn’t randomly shoot those darts when trying to get dinosaur DNA, you shouldn’t worry too much about wasting darts. In my opinion, landing multiple regular shots is better than taking a lot of time to aim for a perfect shot or two or three.
Try to shoot as often as possible, aiming as good as possible – but do shoot often and don’t waste too much time. As you go up the levels, you will need a ton of DNA and that’s more difficult to get than extra darts are.
VIP gives you more battery
If you want even more chances to collect a ton of DNA when you encounter a dinosaur in the wild, VIP is the way to go. This gives you double battery life, meaning that you will most likely get twice as much DNA.
Obviously, if you’re serious about playing this game, this is a huge bonus and will help you get far in the game faster.
You don’t have to move a lot
Although it definitely helps to move around, waiting for dinosaurs to appear in front of you or attacking the ones that are nearby, the good news is that you don’t really have to move a lot in order to meet quite a few dinosaurs.
I normally get one new dinosaur about every 30 minutes when I’m stationary, which is pretty satisfactory if it’s raining outside or just lazy. However, I never got a loot box spawned when I am stationery, so for those you will have to move a bit.
Just like in Pokemon Go, the best places seem to be those of interest and big crowds, like landmarks or parks. Go there with a full set of arrows and you’ll get back home happy!
Evolve your dinos & fuse
There are two main things that you can and should do in Jurassic World Alive: evolve your dinosaurs to make them stronger, then fuse the ones you can in order to get the Legendary dinosaurs or at least rarer ones that really make a difference.
In order to be able to do either, you will have to keep collecting DNA of dinosaurs, which is done mainly by meeting them in the wild. However, opening the boxes in the game also rewards you with some DNA so make sure that you’re always working on those at well.
Fusing dinosaurs is extremely important as we haven’t seen any of the possible results of the fusing out there in the wild. After fusing, you will be able to level up your resulting dinosaur by collecting DNA from any or both of the original dinos.
Winning the Arena battles in JWA
The most fun part in the game is going head to head against other players. The best part here is that you don’t have to be near your opponent and you can always play from home or anywhere in the world.
Winning battles depends on multiple factors and includes a lot of strategy. While we can’t help with many of those (mainly the rarity and level of your dinosaurs), we do have some tips and tricks that will help you win those encounters:
– First of all, it’s extremely important to know your dinosaurs and know them well. Make sure that you know their attacks, their strengths and weaknesses. This way you will be able to make the right choices during the battles and take advantage of the best moves.
– It’s even better if you remember the skills and attacks of the other dinosaurs you’re facing. If you can anticipate their moves or at least you know what moves they might throw at you, it’s even easier to prepare a potential counter and get the upper hand in battle.
– Use your dinosaur’s move at the right time. Most players start with the strongest move, but that’s not always the best approach. In most cases, waiting for your opponent to make a move and throwing your best move after one turn or two can be better.
– Don’t rush to switch when your health is low. This is probably the biggest mistake that most people are doing – panicking and switching out. This basically gives your dinosaur a free attack which can make a difference in the battle. So unless a switch is truly useful for the match, don’t do it!
These would be, for now, our Jurassic World Alive tips and tricks to help you build up a winning team of dinosaurs and dominate your opponents. If you have additional strategies that you’d like to share with fellow players, don’t hesitate to let us know by commenting below.
