Last Shelter: Survival is a base management game in which you assume the role as a commander of a newly built settlement. After a devastating war, the only thing that remains of the world is a wasteland full of mutated zombies.
Our Last Shelter: Survival cheats and tips will show you how to build the ultimate base from the ground up and survive the zombie apocalypse!
Last Shelter: Survival is very similar to other base management games in the genre, so if you’re familiar with this type of game you’ll know exactly what to expect here. Even if you don’t, we’ve got you covered with our Last Shelter: Survival cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Complete the Chapter Quests!
Last Shelter: Survival is a story-driven game divided into multiple chapters. Each chapter focuses on a single aspect of your base, and there are multiple objectives for you to fulfill.
If you’re ever unsure of what to work towards next, simply take a look at your current chapter quest to see what you need to do.
Completing the chapter quest not only rewards you with some resources, but it also ensures that your base stays up-to-date with all of the latest technology and upgrades.
Keep your Ration Truck stocked!
Your Ration Truck is the one-stop-shop for all of your people plus any wanders who come across your settlement. If your Ration Truck is stocked with food and water, wanders will move into your settlement and your population will grow.
Your population needs to reach a certain threshold in order to upgrade the main base, so it’s important to keep increasing your population.
Upgrade the Houses!
Likewise, a high population will do you no good if you don’t have the houses for them to live in. Build Houses to keep your people safe, and upgrade them to increase the amount of people they can hold.
It’s best to stay ahead by upgrading ahead of time, because you don’t want to miss out on potential population increases because you’ve hit your cap.
Keep researching!
Once you build the Institute, you’ll be able to conduct special research experiments that provide a part of your base with a permanent bonus.
For example, you can research things that will permanently boost your building rate, increase your troops’ attack power, increase your base’s defense, and so forth.
Try to get in the habit of having a research going at all times. Researches take a while to finish, so you don’t have to check too often.
Keep your base busy!
Going off of the researching tip, try to keep your base busy at all times. If at any point you have a facility that could be doing something – like a troop training facility – you’ll see green buttons appear at the bottom left corner of the screen. If you tap them, you’ll be taken to the facility in question.
The best base is the most prepared one, and to accomplish this you’ll need to keep bolstering your forces. Train troops constantly, heal them in the hospital, and so forth. You never know when you’re going to need your base at full operations!
That’s our guide for maintaining a healthy base in Last Shelter: Survival. If you’ve got any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below.
