Brand new footage, which can be watched below, has been made available recently by GameSpot, showcasing the game’s first eight floors as well as the hotel’s basement. The video includes spoilers for the beginning of the game, obviously, so avoid watching the video if you want Luigi’s Mansion 3 to be a complete surprise for you when it launches later this month.

More Luigi’s Mansion 3 footage emerged online last week thanks to a brand new trailer that showcased some of the game’s most important mechanics. While the game players a lot like the previous entries in the series, there are some important differences that will make the experience stand on its own.

Luigi’s Mansion 3, as already mentioned, features some differences to the regular series’ formula. The biggest gameplay addition is Gooigi, a green ghost who will aid Luigi in his adventure to save Mario and many other friends, who are trapped inside the haunted hotel by King Boo himself, who has decided to get rid of his enemies once and for all.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will also feature, alongside the single-player campaign, several multiplayer modes, which are getting expanded after release with paid DLC.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 launches on October 31st worldwide exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
