Mario Kart Tour Update 2.9.1 Is Now Live

Mario Kart Tour has been receiving plenty of additional content in the past few months, but it has been some time since a major update introducing new features has been released. While update 2.9.1 doesn’t include anything major, it does prepare the game for new features that will be introduced at a later time.

The new update, which is now live for both the iOS and Android versions of the game, makes preparations so that all Gold Pass subscribers will receive gifts for keeping their subscription active.

Additionally, the update makes preparations for Today’s Challenge, a new challenge where players will have to race on a predetermined course with a predetermined driver to obtain some nice rewards like rubies and firing a pipe. Both features will make their debut in a future tour.

The Mario Kart Tour 2.9.1 update also introduces some fixes, which you can find detailed below.

  • After a Fire 10 of a pipe, the items are not displayed in the order that they appeared in the pipe on the pipe results screen.
  • If the Kart Pro Challenges “Get 1 win in Kart Pro” and “Get 2 wins in a row in Kart Pro” were completed during the previous Kart Pro event, the same challenges will already be completed in current Challenges.

Mario Kart Tour is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store worldwide.
