In this update, multiplayer mode has been added. You can take on the Standard Races, where you will be matched up against random players with preset rules and courses. Standard Races change every day, so there is always something new for players to discover.

In addition to the Standard Races, there are also Gold Races, and as the name suggests you can only participate in these races if you had purchased the monthly subscription Gold Pass. Gold Races let you race up to 200cc, and you can earn some exclusive rewards and badges to display on your license.

If you want to have a race that is set to your own rules, you can do that as well with the new Custom Races option. You will not earn any rewards for these races, but you can control the laps, items, and more.

This update also introduces a new camera mode. During a race, you can activate the cinematic camera that lets you control the camera around your kart while it drives automatically. Use it for some nice cinematic views!

Mario Kart Tour is available now for iOS and Android.
