Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: How Long to Beat

Following the disappointing Marvel’s Avengers, fans of the Marvel Comics universe have been eagerly waiting for a solid game that does justice to the iconic characters and locations seen in the MCU and beyond, and it definitely looks like their patience has been rewarded, as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a solid single-player experience featuring a great story and engaging combat.

Being a single-player-focused experience, players may be wondering if the campaign is long enough to warrant a full-price purchase. And if you are among them, you have come to the right place: here’s how long it takes to beat Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

How Long to Beat Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy?

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a very linear experience where players control Star-Lord and lead the Guardians of the Galaxy in their mission to save the galaxy. While the campaign is definitely meaty, it will not take longer than 20 hours to complete it while finding a good amount of the many collectibles scattered around.

Those looking to experience everything the game has to offer, such as finding all collectibles and listening to all optional conversations are looking to spend an additional couple hours with the game, with the total length for a 100% completion run clocking at around 22 hours. If you have enjoyed the campaign, you also have the option of replaying it again while retaining everything you have already unlocked in your first playthrough thanks to the New Game Plus mode, which is unlocked right after completing the game.
