How to Beat the Shadow Guardians in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy

The Shadow Guardians are featured in an interesting combat encounter, as there is no way for you to defeat them with conventional means. At the start of the encounter, you can fight them normally, but you will soon realize you can’t defeat them for good, since they keep respawning.

The only way to get rid of them for good is by destroying the head from which the mist forming them is coming. To do so, you will first have to scan it with your visor, then you will have to make Rocket go through two narrow paths, which are located to the left of the head and behind the waterfall to the right. For the latter, you will have to insist a few times, so press and hold the X button a couple of times, and he will finally give in to save his companions.

After Rocket goes through the second narrow path, the head will be destroyed and the Shadow Guardians will stop forming, allowing you to proceed.
