Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: How to Get Components

In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you can further develop Star-Lord’s abilities by using Components to unlock new perks.

While finding Components and Advanced Components is relatively straightforward, there is a way that makes sure you do not miss any as you travel from one location to another to save the galaxy.

Here’s what you should do to find all of the Components with ease.

How to Get Components in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Components can be found lying on the ground in the game’s many locations. Regular Components look like batteries, while Advanced Components look like spheres. To get them, get close to any and press the X button. To use them to unlock Perks, you will have to access a Workbench.

While you can find plenty of Components by simply playing the game, you will eventually miss a few of them, as some are well-hidden in locations you are not required to explore to move the story forward. To make sure you do not miss any of them, you will need to unlock the Components Localizer perk. With this perk, you will be notified by the game when components are nearby. Once you receive the notification, press the left stick to activate the Visor, and you will see icons indicating the exact locations of components.

If you’re looking to unlock all of the perks in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you will need to get the Components Localizer perk as soon as possible. We suggest you unlock this perk first, as doing so will make it much faster to unlock every other one, including those that can give you an edge in battle.
