You’ll start off by choosing what kind of merchandise you want to make, then the choices start coming in. Should you invest in a new warehouse or marketing? With the help of our Merch Tycoon cheats and tips, you’ll make the right decisions!

Merch Tycoon is a pretty simple game but it’s surprisingly addicting. Watching your business grow before your very eyes is awesome, and we’re here to aid in your business journey with our Merch Tycoon cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Buy cheap materials!

The key to increasing your net profit starts at the very beginning: the cost of materials! If you take a look at the Buy Materials button, you’ll notice that the price of materials fluctuates.

Every three or so seconds, the price will change to something different. Higher or lower is anyone’s guess, but your job is to keep an eye on it and buy materials when they’re dirt cheap.

If you see a really low price, buy a bunch of materials! But be careful – don’t tap rapidly because you may buy materials when the price changes, and remember that the prices change fast!

Play around with Public Demand!

The more expensive your merch is, the less the public will demand it. Think of Public Demand as your selling rate – the lower it is, the slower your merch moves.

However, don’t be afraid to play around with it and experiment! You can actually set it really low (around 20%) and your merch will still sell at a pretty reasonable rate.

There are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to Public Demand. First, you should never ever hit your maximum storage limit. If you do that your demand is way too low and you’re barely making any profit.

Second, if you’re selling merch faster than you can produce it, that’s a good place to be. Maintain that position!

Buy lots of Equipment!

Equipment is probably one of the most important upgrades to invest in. Each point into Equipment increases how fast you produce merch, and as you know selling your merch as fast as possible is the name of the game here.

Level 1 Manpower is good enough for a long time, so you don’t have to worry about that too much, although it does help. Same goes for the Storage upgrade, which increases your maximum capacity, but if you’re selling fast you won’t even really reach that cap anyways.

Save up for the Marketing upgrades!

Perhaps the most powerful upgrade is the Marketing upgrade. These upgrades are VERY expensive, but for good reason: they add a permanent 5% bonus to your Public Demand.

This means that, with enough Marketing upgrades, you can potentially sell your merch very high and it’ll still be in high demand. After you’ve gotten all of the other upgrades, you should save up for Marketing.

Don’t spend too much!

Whatever you do, avoid bankruptcy! If you spend all of your money too fast and you can’t afford enough materials to produce new merch, you may have to start over. You don’t have to worry about this as long as you’re responsible with your spending, but it’s just something to keep in mind!

That’s all for Merch Tycoon! If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
