Minecraft has been going strong for years now, and Mojang is doing an amazing job at keeping all the versions of the game updated with new features and fixes to further improve the game’s quality and make it a pleasing experience, no matter the platform of choice.
Minecraft on Nintendo Switch does run well for the most part, but things can always be improved. This is the main focus of the new 1.18.10 update. Here’s exactly what has been changed and improved.

The Minecraft 1.18.10 update introduces a variety of choice improvements that are sure to make playing the game on the Nintendo Switch console smoother and more enjoyable.
Among the new improvements introduced in the latest update are improvements to the smoothness of player movement, tweaks to the Invite to Game feature and a few other welcome fixes for the interface, ratings count and offer tiles, and more. Small changes, that’s for sure, but very welcome nonetheless.

- Improved the smoothness of player movement (MCPE-152176)
- The pause menu’s “Invite to Game” button is now always enabled on Realms
- Fixed issue where ratings count and offer tiles were not visible in the Marketplace
- Fixed an issue with experience being granted when moving items from the hotbar in the furnace UI screens (MCPE-152227)
- Fixed a crash that could occur when launching the game on PlayStation while connected with Remote Play (MCPE-143803)
- Fixed a bug where animation timeline events at 0.0 would sometimes not run in looping animations
