Minecraft continues to excel and amass players on all platforms as one of the most popular games of our time that allows you to build and design just about anything you want. Unlike PC and console, Minecraft PE is not a free-to-play game on mobile as you have to buy it at around $7.50 to play. The developers recently held its Minecraft Live Event where it announced that the game’s version 1.20 will make its way across multiple platforms in 2023.
There is no official name for the upcoming update just yet. For now, it is simply being referred to as Minecraft 1.20 and is set to bring new features to the game such as camels, hanging signs, chiselled bookshelves and many more features in 2023.
Mojang will share more features to come in Minecraft update 1.20 in the coming weeks and will launch the update in 2023. So for now, Minecraft PE 1.20 update is not available for mobile devices yet.
Features to Expect in Minecraft PE 1.20 Update
As aforementioned, camels have been added to Minecraft and will become available in update 1.20 which two players can use as a mode of transportation. In previous Minecraft updates, players have also been able to use shelves for decoration. However, update 1.20 will bring Chiseled bookshelves to the game.
