The release of the new 0.10.0 update isn’t exactly a surprise. Johan Bernhardson, one of the Mojang team members working on Minecraft – Pocket Edition, confirmed ten days ago that the new update was ready to be submitted to Apple for certification.

The Minecraft – Pocket Edition 0.10.0 update introduces several changes and new features. Among them are the introduction of fences and fence gates and the addition of the day and night cycle in creative mode. The update also adds some cosmetic changes as well as support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The previous Minecraft – Pocket Edition update, version 0.9.0, has been released back this Summer. The update introduced new blocks and items like the mushroom blocks and monster eggs, new flowers, new mobs, new lakes, new monster rooms and the Biomes from the PC version of the game. A new interaction button has also been introduced by this update as well as several fixes for bugs and glithces.

Minecraft – Pocket Edition is now available for purchase on the App Store. The new 0.10.0 update is also available for download.
