The team has went so far as to say that it’s going to be the biggest update ever for the Minecraft: Pocket Edition so we should be in for something really good.

According to the team, the new Minecraft: Pocket Edition update will introduce new block and items, like the mushroom blocks and monster eggs, new flowers, new mobs, new lakes, new vines and new monster rooms as well as the Biomes from the PC version like mesas, jungles, swamps and extreme hills. Also included will be abandoned mineshafts, villages and many other locations.

As if all this wasn’t enough, Mojang will add a new interaction button which will avoid making some unwanted interactions with characters. Plenty of bug fixes are also going to be included.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition update 0.9.0 will be released for iOS devices on July 10th. Mojang has also confirmed that the next update is not going to take so long so we should expect more Minecraft: Pocket Edition content in the very near future.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition is now available for purchase on the App Store.
