The new video, which can be watched by going here, is less than a minute long but features some gameplay sequences that will definitely get fans of the series hyped for the new game. More details on the game as well as a full new trailer will be coming next week.

One week ago some new details have emerged on the Modern Combat 5: Blackout multiplayer modes. Gameloft confirmed that the game will support up to 12 total players and sport four different multiplayer play modes: Capture The Flag, Team Battle, Free For All and VIP. The Team Battle mode will be especially interesting, as players will be able to form teams and challenge other squads from all over the world, almost like clans.

Modern Combat 5: Blackout is going to be the first entry of the series that will not feature any sort of IAP. All the unlockables of the game can be obtained by simply playing the game. This decision has been taken so that players will really be rewarded for their efforts in the game, without including some shortcuts to unlock everything the easy way.

Modern Combat 5 will be released this Summer, after having being delayed a while back. A precise release date will be coming during the E3.
