CoD MW2 players have had difficulties figuring out just how to use the companion app or even if it’s compatible. Every Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare (2019) has a Companion App including Call of Duty Warzone. However, CoD MW2 does not currently support a Companion App.

Fortunately, there’s still time for Activision and Infinity Ward to make CoD MW2 support its Companion App. And although neither of these companies has officially announced that MW2 will support the Companion App, it’s only a speculation based on previous experiences.

So players should expect CoD MW2 to have Companion App support after Season One goes live or after the next season commences. And since the first season is set to commence today (November 16), chances are the Companion App update should be around the corner.

The Companion App will introduce a range of useful features for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 players. For instance, they’ll be able to claim their in-game XP rewards, view their combat record, monitor their Battle Pass progression and even check how they’ve performed in their last 20 matches.

While there’s no official Companion App for MW2 yet, there’s one already available that offers services that are useful before MW2 integration is added. Players interested in the Call of Duty League can also keep track of the League’s schedule and standings throughout the season.

The Call of Duty Companion App can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store.
