The game is now available for purchase on the App Store for $9.99 instead of the usual $14.99. This is actually the first time the game has gone on sale since release so it’s a good thing to take advantage of this deal before it expires later this week on April 11th.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has been originally released on PSP a few years ago and has managed to make series more popular than ever not only in Japan but also in North America and Europe. The iOS version also comes with some enhancements over the PSP version that should make even those who have spent hours upon hours on the original version quite happy. The basic gameplay experience is very similar to other entries of the series, as players have to travel through the game’s world, hunt down monsters, gather parts, create more powerful weapons and armor and hunt down even more powerful monsters.
