The bow is a very powerful weapon that works great at long and short distances. Also, you are not limited in how you move during your attacks. But the price for all this will be your stamina. You need a very large amount of stamina, and also get used to controlling it.

  • The bow can also attack in close combat by pressing the A button. To aim, you have to hold Zl and then press R to shoot.
  • If you hold Zr then you will start charging the arrow, as soon as you release the button the arrow will fly to the target. There are 4 charge levels, each one more powerful.
  • If you press the X + A buttons, you will activate a powerful Dragon Piercer attack.
  • Also, if you press the A button immediately after the shot, your character will shoot again with a Power Shot. The charge of this shot will be one level more than the previous one. You can re-press the A button and make Power Volley one more level more powerful.

  • While you are attacking or aiming with your bow, you can move in any direction and press the B button. This will allow you to dodge and charge up to one level for your next shot. However, this will use up your stamina very quickly.
  • When you charge an attack while holding Zr you can press the A button to fire an Arc Shot that buffs you and your allies. There are three types of buffs, the first restores health. The second increases your Affinity percentage. And the third prevents you from being knocked down.
