We are talking about Morels, the card game themed around mushroom foraging. The digital version of the game, which can be purchased for $4.99, comes with full multiplayer mode as well as a single player mode with 3 different AI difficulty settings.

The game also supports cross-platform play between iOS and Android, so there will never be a lack of real opponents. Local multiplayer is also available, with pass & play.

The digital version of Morels also features some new game modifiers that spice up the experience. They have been created by the card game’s designer, Brent Povis.

Morels is a strategic two-player competitive card game where players must forage for mushrooms and sell them to delve deeper into the forest, cook them and score more points than their opponents. Not all mushrooms can be cooked, as some of them are poisonous.

Morels is now available for purchase on the App Store and Google Play Store. The game tries to do something different, so make sure to check it out if you’re looking for a card game that moves away from the clichès of the genre.
