Mortal Kombat 11 has been released on Nintendo Switch alongside the other console versions of the game, but the two others have received a couple of updates that tweak balance and fix issues. The Nintendo Switch is lagging behind in this regard as of now, but things are changing this week.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ed Boon confirmed that a new update is coming before the end of this week in all regions. The update has yet to be detailed in full, but it’s already been confirmed that it will bring parity with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
Nintendo Switch MK11 update:
We are hoping to drop an MK11 Switch update this week (Friday) or early next week…. to make it at parity with the PS4 and Xbox1 versions. #StayTuned— Ed Boon (@noobde) May 8, 2019
Mortal Kombat 11 has been released last month on Nintendo Switch as well as on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Like the previous entries in the series, Mortal Kombat 11 features a big story mode and plenty of single player content that will keep players glued to their chair for a very long time.
Mortal Kombat 11 also features an interesting character roster which includes classic characters like Scorpion, Raiden, and Sub-Zero as well as characters introduced in the previous game like Erron Black and Kotal Kahn as well as some newcomers. DLC characters are also coming down the line, and among them will be Shang Tsung, the powerful sorcerer who served as the final boss of the very first entry in the series.
Mortal Kombat 11 is now available on Nintendo Switch.
