The iOS release of the brutal fighting game is going to be different from the PC and console one, as the mobile game will be a unique hybrid between a card battler and 3D fighting game, with some multiplayer features. In the end, Mortal Kombat X iOS will probably not play all that differently from the mobile release of the previous Netherealm Studios fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Being a Mortal Kombat game, expect to see many of the series’ staples such as Fatalities, X-Ray moves, classic characters like Sub-Zero and Scorpions and much more.

As an added bonus, it will be possible to unlock content for the main game through Mortal Kombat X iOS. A WB Play account will be required to access these features.

Mortal Kombat X will be released during April on the App Store in all regions. You can check out how the brutaly gameplay experience of the fighting game developed by Netherealm Studios will translate on iOS devices by checking out the trailer right below.
