With the Black Friday deals just behind us and with empty wallets (at least in my case), we’re looking at a pretty quiet week ahead. The best thing to do while waiting for our Black Friday shopping to be delivered is to focus on playing some amazing games on our phones or tablets. At least these are free… most of them are, anyway.
And in case you missed some of our most important stories of last week, worry not – we’re here to tell you about them once more, to make sure that you are up to date with everything that matters in the mobile gaming world.
And since we might’ve missed a thing or two, we’re also sharing some awesome stories from our friends. So you’re well covered: after reading this article, you will be able to say that you know all the important mobile gaming stories of the previous week.
Since I mentioned empty wallets, I think it’s a good idea to start looking for mobile games that don’t look to squeeze your last dime with in app purchases, right? Well, believe it or not, there are such games available on mobile and our friends at 148 Apps put up a nice list of the best iPhone games without iAPs. Should come in handy!
Now, if you manage not to tap that “buy” button – which should be a lot easier to do when you have no funds to spend – you should know that one of the best Assassin’s Creed-based games has been launched on mobile. We’re talking about the amazing Assassin’s Creed Rebellion which is free to download and play. And you should do it, then make sure you also check out our tips and tricks for the game and then unlock those characters faster!
And since you probably have more time on your hands now due to the bad weather, you can dream about fancy sports cars and high speed racing while sipping on some hot chocolate, hidden under a blanket on your couch. And you can actually work on getting the said cars in your garage. Yes, it’s a virtual one in Asphalt 9: Legends, but it’s better than nothing, right?
If the adrenaline from high speed racing is not your thing, then maybe you enjoy blasting other players in cartoony multiplayer battles? If you do (and especially if you enjoy Team Fortress), then The Respanables is surely installed on your device. There’s also a new event going on these days and Pocket Gamer has a guide to ruling it.
And since we’re talking about events in mobile games, Dragalia Lost is a title with tons of them – and most are extremely challenging, yet rewarding. And there’s one particular event where seemingly endless waves of enemies keep on coming, making your life miserable. To even things out a bit, 148 Apps has some tips for you on how to easily beat the Ruler of the Shore mission.
If you want something even more strategic, we’ve got you covered as well. Wild Beyond launched last week and it’s a really good RPG with great graphics. We’ve got a guide for the game as well, so make sure to check it out if you want to get better.
Or you can just work on improving your jumping, stamina and general swagger. What for? Well, for the most popular basketball sim game available on mobile, NBA 2K Mobile! And since we’re such a resourceful bunch, we’ve got some tips and tricks for that game as well make sure to check them out here.
And this would be it. A pretty dry week in terms of the number of new mobile games released to the public, but I prefer fewer, but more quality games launched anyway. And you know now of every single one of them – as well as what to do to become an expert faster. Enjoy your week!
