MU Origin Receives Three Big Updates to the Reverse System

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Even though MU Origin 2 is out, Webzen hasn’t forgotten about the people who still enjoy playing the original, bringing three new features to the Reverse today. These new features are the Land of Chaos, Divine Grace and a Hero system.

The Land of Chaos is a new location where you’ll be able to battle some powerful bosses depending on your Reverse level. Whether you prefer to face them alone or with friends, defeating them will net you various rewards such as Reverse Equipment Chests, Blessing Tools and Exceed Points. Additionally, once the boss has died they’ll create a tomb that you’ll be able to mine for additional items.

You’ll also be able now to bless Reverse equipment with the Divine Grace feature. This will allow you to enhance your gear with one of five types – Radiant, Reliable, Dreadful, Vain and Fatal. Your equipment will gain set bonuses when you have two, four or five pieces of equipment with the same Grace. These bonuses will be greater depending on the rarity of the Grace you’ve imbued it with.

The final update is the new Hero system. This will allow you to have a Hero accompany you into battle, so long as it’s not in the Arena, Battle of Olympus or Clan Assault. They’ll all come equipped with a skill that they will use automatically.

To collect these heroes you’ll have to gather Hero pieces from the Land of Chaos that can be exchanged for a Hero when you’ve acquired enough of them. You’ll also be able to make them more powerful by enhancing and evolving them with Emblems of Holy Spirit and Scrolls of Holy Spirit respectively.

If you’re yet to give MU Origin a try and are looking for a true MMORPG experience it might be worth a look. You can give it a try on either the App Store and Google Play for free.
