Everything to know about the Dusk Palace in Myths of Moonrise

The Dusk Palace is the heart of your city, and it represents your city’s overall progression; many buildings cannot upgrade past a certain level if your Dusk Palace is not also upgraded. Get into the habit of upgrading the Dusk Palace whenever you can.

As you complete quests and challenges, be sure to check back to your Dusk Palace. Many key buildings and mechanics are locked behind the Dusk Palace’s level, so keep on upgrading and don’t stop. The Dusk Palace caps out at level 35, but it’ll be some time before you get there.

In order to upgrade the Dusk Palace, you’ll need to meet its various requirements, which are always proportionate to your current level. You’ll also need to construct all the latest buildings you have unlocked if there are any, and they need to be leveled too.

For example, to go from Dusk Palace level 4 to 5, you need a level 4 Wall, Food Factory, and Barrack. Once you have met all these requirements, you can pay the food and wood feed to initiate the upgrade. If you can’t upgrade the Dusk Palace yet, simply select it and it’ll tell you what you need to upgrade first.

For your reference, here’s a grand list of all the unlocks that the Dusk Palace grants. At level 16, you unlock the Bloodstone Mine, which is the last major unlock. You can keep upgrading your Dusk Palace to level 35 and beyond, but each level only grants increased power and troop capacity.

How to use Dusk Palace Manor Buffs

In addition to overseeing your city’s progression, the Dusk Palace is also the place where you can see all of your currently active Manor Buffs. Manor Buffs are powerful buffs that can activate under certain conditions or when you use a special item. Later in the game when you’re dealing with multiple things all over the continent, it can be hard to keep track of what’s active, so the Manor Buffs list can help you keep things organized.

Select your Dusk Palace, then hit the Manor Buffs button. Here, you’ll see a list of all the possible buffs. You can activate them conveniently from the list if you have the corresponding consumable item, but if you don’t, you can simply pay with gems.

It’s worth mentioning that you start out with a Mana Shield Manor Buff when you’re a new player, which protects you from attacks made by other players. However, it only lasts for 5 days, or if you hit Dusk Palace level 10. As soon as you hit level 10, your Mana Shield disappears, no matter how much time you had remaining on it. Keep this in mind and only push to level 10 once you’re ready for possible attacks.
