Here’s everything you need to know to take down the Phasaurus Rex boss with ease.

Overview

Phasaurus Rex is a massive boss Noise that uses its tails and powerful roars to defeat its enemies. This boss is fought during Week 2, Day 5.

Normal Mode Stats

HP – 13000
PP – 428
EXP – 240
Weak to Ice and Water

How to Defeat Phasaurus Rex

Like for a few other boss fights in NEO: The World Ends With You, you will not be fighting the Phasaurus Rex alone, as it will be accompanied by a few frog Noise as well. Get rid of the Frog Noise first so as to be able to fully focus on the main boss.

Taking on the Phasaurus Rex at close range is a very bad idea, as the boss cannot be staggered by any attack. Given the huge range of the tail attack, which is thankfully signaled by a red flash, it’s just better and much safer to attack it with long-range Pins. Also, make sure to bring as many Ice and Water Pins to the fight, as the Phasaurus Rex is weak against both. Take your time, avoid its attacks, retaliate while it’s recovering from them and you should have very little trouble taking it down.
