Every month, new NES – Nintendo Switch Online games become available for the service. Last month was particularly good thanks to the inclusion of some all-time classics like Punch-Out!!, but this month won’t be any slouch as well.

The Nintendo of America official website revealed the three new games that will be coming to the service later this month. These games are Donkey Kong Jr., VS. Excitebike and Clu Clu Land. A precise release date for all three has yet to be confirmed, but it will likely be announced soon.

The inclusion of Donkey Kong Jr. is an interesting choice, considering the game is already available on the Nintendo Switch as an Arcade Archives release. The game sort of reverses the premise of the original Donkey Kong, as the villain is now Mario, who has imprisoned the big ape as retribution for what he did in the original game.

In Donkey Kong Jr., players take control of the ape’s son as he tries to release him from captivity. The basic mechanics of the game are identical to the original game, but they have been expanded with new hazards and stages that make the game feel different.
