SEGA is among the many Japanese developers who have been releasing quite a few mobile titles as part of a new focus on the mobile market.
Yesterday the Japanese publisher announced the release of a new version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and of the mobile version of the successful racing game Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed. Together with these two titles, SEGA has also announced a new iOS role playing game called Demon Tribe.
As the name suggests, the main goal in Demon Tribe is to collect demons. Once you have collected a few of them, you’ll have the ability to fuse them together in order to create more powerful demon. If you know the Shin Megami Tensei series, you already have a clear idea on how this mechanic will work.
The Demon Tribe combat system is going to mix features from card games and MOBA titles. Players will also be able to play together with other players in some heated three versus three battles.
If you fear that you’ll never be able to play this game in a language you can understand don’t worry as SEGA has revealed this morning that Demon Tribe will be released in the West soon.
The Japanese version of Demon Tribe will be released before the end of the year in Japan. While waiting for an official Western release dare for the game, you can check out an older trailer for the game right below.
