As it happened for several other games that have been delayed in the past few weeks, No More Heroes 3 has been postponed to 2021 due to unforseen delays in development caused by the current pandemic.

The team, however, seems to be back on its feet but has decided to prioritize quality, leaving no other choice than to delay the game.

All staff members at Grasshopper have been working as hard as possible on developing the game in hopes of releasing it in 2020, but the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have unfortunately proven to be a real body blow to our schedule, causing unforeseen delays in development. Now that we have managed to get back on our feet with development, we have decided to focus on prioritizing quality, and to therefore push back the final release date.

No More Heroes 3, which will actually be the fourth entry in the series, will retain the crazy style of its predecessors, seeing Travis Touchdown’s return to Santa Destroy to save the world from an alien invasion.

No More Heroes 3 launches on Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021.
