The Zelda inspired adventure has been originally unveiled two years ago but failed to materialize multiple times. This made gamers think that the boat really wasn’t going to make it, sinking into the limbo of unreleased games forever.

These games can definitely rejoyce today, as Cornfox & Bros. have finally confirmed that the game will be released later this week!

Oceanborn will become available for purchase on the App Store this Thursday, November 14th. It really took a long time, but it’s finally happening.

Oceanhors has been heavily influenced by The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker, released on Nintendo Gamecube some years ago. While the influence is quite clear by looking at the game’s trailers, Oceanhorn will have enough gameplay elements that will differentiate it from the Nintendo game. Even if the game was going to be really similar to The Wind Waker, it will still be an impressive game, considering its releasing exclusively on iOS devices.

The game has managed to gather some attention thanks to the involvement of Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito, who have worked on the soundtrack of many Final Fantasy titles as well as on Secret Of Mana and the Romancing SaGa series. The two Japanese composers have worked on some of the songs to be featured in Oceanhorn.

Oceanhorn will be released on the App Store later this week, on November 14th.
