Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty Finally Makes Its Way to the App Store

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the most appreciated platformers in video game history and one of my favorite platform games of all time, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee has been recently remade and improved under the name Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. And today, the game finally makes its way to the App Store so iPhone and iPad owners can experience the awesomeness of this amazing game.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty tells the story of Abe who becomes an unlikely hero who has to save his fellow Mudokons from the evil Molluck the Glukkon who plans to turn Abe and his entire species into snacks for his always-hungry and out of food population. Well, that ain’t gonna happen now that you’re in charge!

Set in an original, beautiful world filled with unique characters and innovative gameplay mechanics, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty offers the ultimate platformer experience, mixing humor with challenging gameplay and awesome level designs. You can’t help but fall in love with this game.

You will need a lot of storage space in order to install and play the game – a whooping 3.6GB, to be specific, which probably makes many jaws to drop… but I guarantee that it’s all worth it. Even if you haven’t played an Oddworld game in the past, trust me: it’s worth doing all you can to free up space on your device and offer the gods of gaming 3.6GB of storage for Abe’s adventures.

Check out a gameplay trailer to see that it’s really an amazing game that we’re talking about (gameplay from the PS version):

It does look amazing and, believe me, it is amazing. You must play this game, so consider it an early Christmas present. Now head over to the App Store and download it now. You’ll thank me later!
