Omega Strikers is an exciting new competitive game that mashes high-speed MOBA action with strategic sports-style gameplay. Work with your team to smash the core into the enemy’s goal, and you can even bash your opponents out of the arena! You can power up your Strikers using Trainings, so today, we’ll explain everything you need to know in our Omega Strikers Trainings guide: how to use Trainings effectively in Omega Strikers!
Omega Strikers’ Trainings Guide
In Omega Strikers, every character can equip up to three Trainings. Trainings grant your Striker passive bonuses that can give you an edge over your opponents—faster cooldowns, increased stats, among others.
There are five styles of Trainings, each focusing on a different aspect of your Striker:
- Sniper Trainings focus on increasing long-range capabilities, augmenting any ranged abilities your Striker has with increased damage and range.
- Speedster Trainings focus on empowering your Striker’s movement abilities. These Trainings often improve your mobility by granting you haste.
- Controller Trainings focus on improving your own durability by increasing your max stagger and size. Controller Trainings can also improve any creations your Striker makes.
- Brawler Trainings focus on strengthening your direct attacks with enemy Strikers, making you a force to be reckoned with.
- Specialist Trainings focus on improving universal abilities. They can reduce your special ability’s cooldown, improve your creations, and even augment your movement ability.
Every Striker has three slots for Trainings. The first two slots are locked to a certain style, so you have to choose a Training that matches the slot. The third slot, however, is a Prismatic Slot, which allows you to equip any type of Training.
Let’s look at Juliette as an example. Her first two slots are red and green slots, so you’ll have to choose Brawler and Speedster Trainings. For her third slot, you can equip her with anything you wish.
For your convenience, you’re given two different categories of sets that you can choose between during the pre-game setup. One category is for when you’re in the forward position, and the other is when you’re a goalie.
If you’re just starting out, you can stick with the default presets, as they’re pretty good and will help you get acclimated to your Striker of choice. Play a couple of matches until you’ve earned some Striker Credits, and make sure to complete those missions.
Once you’re more acclimated with your Striker and you have a decent amount of Striker Credits, it’s time to start earning more Trainings. You can buy additional Trainings from the store, and you can also unlock them from the Battle Pass.
Once you’ve purchased any additional Trainings that sound good to you, you can start making your own builds. On the main menu, click on your name tag, and you can edit and create Training sets.
Ultimately, whatever Trainings you pick are up to you, but if you need help deciding on what to pick and which Trainings would be the most effective, consider these questions:
- Where are you on the field, compared to your enemies? Do you like to get up close and personal, or do you like to stay at a distance?
- Do you play defensively and prefer to grab Power Orbs, or do you try to knock out any opponents you run into?
- Which abilities do you use the most?
These questions might help you brainstorm on what Trainings might be the most useful to your favorite Striker and your playstyle. Above all, the best thing to do is to simply just try it. Equip some Trainings you’re on the fence and about and try them out in a real game!
