A few hours ago, the game’s servers have gone live, allowing iOS and Android users to enjoy the game on the go. Genshin Impact is also releasing on Nintendo Switch, but on a yet to be confirmed release date, so handheld play will only be available on mobile devices for the time being.

A new gameplay trailer has also been released to celebrate the release of the 1.0 version. You can take a look at it right below.

Genshin Impact has been clearly inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but the game is much more than a simple Zelda clone, as it comes with unique mechanics that set the two decisevly apart.

Combat, in particular, is unlike anything seen in the Zelda series, as it has more similarities with the Tales of series’ combat, with flashy combos and elemental attacks that add a lot more depth to the experience.

Genshin Impact is now available on iOS and Android globally, as well as on PlayStation 4 and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will release on a yet to be confirmed release date.
