Plants vs Zombies 2 Receives New Dark Ages Update

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Today is definitely update day. Earlier this morning we have reported that Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Pirates has received a new update full of new content and features and now we are happy to report that the highly successful Plants vs Zombies 2 has received a new update as well.

The Dark Ages includes, as the name implies, new medieval content into the game like new zombies, new stages and more.

All the new stages included in the update are set during night so it will be possible to use mushrooms and other plants that prefer darkness. Also included in the update are some new tombstones that will provide sun and food to your plants. Zombies are way stronger at night so it only makes sense that the poor plants receive some much needed help.

This Dark Ages update is only the first part of a series of future updates that will introduce more medieval themed content to the game. A release date for future updates has yet to be confirmed.

Plants vs Zombies 2 is now available for purchase on the App Store. The update is also available for download and it’s completely free so don’t worry about having to pay to enjoy the all new content of the game.
