Quagsire’s Weakness

Quagsire’s number one weakness is grass type Pokemon. In fact, it is this Pokemon’s only weakness. Pokemon such as Carnivine, Roselia, Tangela, and Turtwig will be able to stand up to their power. Grass Pokemon have an advantage over both water and ground types, so they have double power against the dual type Quagsire.

How To Counter Quagsire’s Power

The damage-dealing moves grass Pokemon come with can easily chip away at Quagsire’s high HP. These include Giga Drain, Leaf Blade, and Grass Knot. Grass Knot is especially useful because it’s such a big Pokemon, and the heavier an opponent is, the harder Grass Knot hits. Quagsire can still hit hard and easily has the potential to one-hit knock out most Pokemon. To counter this, you need to have moves that will slow it down. Support moves such as Leaf Tornado, Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore will do the job beautifully.

Quagsire can be intimidating, but with these tips, you now know exactly how to defeat it. In fact, you might even consider adding one to your team to have a strong water Pokemon that happens to be immune to electric types!
