What is Pokemon 114 in the Pokedex of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

We gave you the answer at the beginning itself, and if you didn’t quite get it, don’t fret! Pokemon 114 is simply ‘Unown’!

Unown is probably one of the most mysterious Pokemon out there, whose origins and backstory are completely shrouded in mystery. Unown are floating Pokemon that have 28 different variants, appearing in the forms of the Latin alphabet, as well as punctuation marks.

How to Catch Pokemon 114—Unown—in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Unown can be found in Solaceon Ruins. To reach Solaceon Ruins, you need to enter Solaceon Town and head northeast till you see a couple of ledges to your east. Head to the right, making it past the ledges till you reach the entrance of Solaceon Ruins.

Within the ruins, you will find several rooms, some smaller, and some larger. The smaller rooms possess 20 different variants of Unown, who will appear at random. The 6 bigger rooms each possess 6 different variants of Unown.

Once you’ve caught all of them, get out of the Ruins and head to the Ruin Maniac Cave on Route 214. Since you’ve caught 26 of the Unown variants in Solaceon Ruins, the Ruin Maniac will allow you to access an entrance that takes you to an uncharted area of Solaceon ruins.

Here, you can find and capture the last 2 Unown, the Exclamation Mark and Question Mark Unown, to find all the variants of Pokemon 114 in the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Pokedex!
