Chinchou, the dual-type Water and Electric Pokémon, is getting its own Spotlight Hour in the month of November! We’ll cover everything you need to know about Chinchou’s upcoming Spotlight Hour, including shiny availability, in our Pokémon Go Chinchou Spotlight Hour guide!
Chinchou’s Spotlight Hour: Can Chinchou be Shiny?
On November 9, 2021, Chinchou will be taking the next Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go. As is the case with previous Spotlight Hours, they start at 6 PM local time and run until 7 PM, lasting exactly for an hour. Be sure to plan for it if you’re looking for a Chinchou!
During Chinchou’s Spotlight Hour, Trainers will receive double the normal amount of candy when you transfer Chinchous to Professor Willow. Trainers looking to evolve or power up their Chinchou should not miss out on this opportunity.
To top it all off, Chinchou’s shiny form will indeed be catchable, and it’ll be appearing at a higher rate than normal! Shiny hunters, look alive, as this will be your greatest chance to get a shiny Chinchou.
