Pokemon Go has over 200 Pokemon to catch so finding them all can be tricky. One way players can increase their chances of discovering more Pokemon is by using Lure Modules. These Lure Modules can be placed at Pokestops to help players attract Pokemon, ready to be caught! Different Lure Modules have different effects on the surrounding Pokemon- this can include increasing rates of Pokemon appearing at that location, and the different types of Pokemon appearing. Pokemon Go Lure Modules
Players can purchase Lure Modules in the Shop for 100 PokeCoins, or 8 for 680 PokeCoins. There is also a chance of getting a Normal Lure Module when levelling up to lvl 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30. All other types are offered as rewards for completing Special Research Tasks.
Normal Lure Module: This is a pink Lure Module and is used to increase the likelihood of Pokemon appearing in the location. Players can obtain these by levelling up or purchasing them in the Shop.
Glacial Lure Module: This is an icy blue Lure Module and is used to attract Ice or Water Pokemon such as Swinub, Piplup, and Jynx. Players can also turn their Eevee into Glaceon by evolving Eevee near a Glacial Lure Module.
Magnetic Lure Module: This silver and blue Lure Module is electronic so it attracts Electric, Steel, and Rock Pokemon types such as Pikachu, Voltorb, and Aron. It can also be used to evolve Magneton into Manezone, and Nosepass into Probopass when stood near an active lure of this type.
Mossy Lure Module: This is a green coloured Lure Module used to attract Bug, Grass, and Poison types such as Oddish, Yanma, and Hoppip. It can also be used to evolve Eevee into Leafeon.
Rainy Lure Module: This watery blue Lure Module is used to attract Water, Bug, and Electric type Pokemon such as Psyduck, Stunfisk, and Chinchou. Players can also evolve Sliggoo into Goodra when standing near lure this during evolution.
