The Season of Heritage marks the fifth season in Pokémon Go, bringing several stories, monthly seasonal challenges, and bonuses over the course of three months. Seasons are in-game periods (three months long) that bring together numerous themed events and introduce many different features and other gameplay changes.
During the Season of Heritage in Pokémon Go, there will be different Pokémon to find spawning in the wild depending on which side of the world you live in, as well as new creatures in Eggs and Raids. When will Pokémon Go Season of Heritage begin?
The Season of Heritage in Pokémon Go is already well underway (having started on Wednesday, December 1, 2021) and will end on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
Bonuses in Pokémon Go Season of Heritage
Challenges are divided into three assortments of Timed Research running from December 1, 2021, to March 1, 2022. Each set of challenges will revolve around a different Team Leader running every month. Here are all the monthly seasonal bonuses and timed research that you can do during the event:
- December: Blanche’s Stardust Challenge (Earn 2x Stardust for the first daily catch; Deino Hat Avatar Item reward once 120,000 Stardust is collected).
- January: Spark’s XP Challenge (Earn 2x XP for the first daily catch; Goomy Hat Avatar Item reward once 240,000 XP is collected).
- February: Candela Catch Challenge (Earn 2x XP egg hatch, increased XL Candy from Eggs; Noibat Hat Avatar Item reward once 600 Pokémon are caught).

There’s also a Swinub Incense Day on December 5, while A Tour: Johto event takes place between February 26 and 27, 2022. You can even take part with different Mega Pokémon in Mega Raids from December 1 to December 23, then Mega Abomasnow from December 23 to January 7.
Furthermore, specific legendary Pokémon will be returning to five-star raids between December 1 and 16, then Kyurem from December 16 to December 31. There will be new sets of Pokemon that you can hatch from eggs as well as Pokémons emerging, particularly in the north or southern hemisphere and biomes.
