Niantic has announced the details of Pokemon Go’s upcoming event, known as the Spring into Spring. The event kicks off on April 12 and continues until April 18. Once again, a bunch of Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild during this time frame.
On top of this, trainers will receive special in-game bonuses and new Timed Research tasks to work through. Niantic has revealed the complete details of the upcoming Spring into Spring event. So without any further ado, let’s dive deep into the details.
Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event schedule
Pokémon GO Spring into Spring will be taking place from Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, April 18, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers have six days to complete all the Research tasks and grab all the bonuses.
Featured Pokemon and Raids
The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild:
- Bulbasaur
- Oddish
- Paras
- Bellsprout
- Tangela
- Chikorita
- Sunkern
- Treecko
- Seedot
The Pokémon will be appearing also more frequently, but as rare spawns:
- Beautifly
- Dustox
- Alomomola
Pokemon Go Spring into Spring Event Bonuses
- 2x Hatch Candy
- 1/2 Hatch Distance
- 2x Lucky Egg Duration
- Team GO Rocket grunts will have more Shadow Whismur and Shadow Exeggcute in their parties
Ula’ula Island Special Research
Available to collect from April 12, 2022, to June 1, 2022
Throughout the Season, you’ll be able to complete different Special Research lines to learn about each of the islands in Alola. These Special Research lines will be available to collect until the Season ends on June 1!*
If you complete them by June 1, 2022, you’ll unlock a bonus Special Research line at the end of the Season.
*These Special Research lines will be available to collect beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time on specified dates and ending on June 1, 2022, at 9:59 a.m. You can finish a research line anytime after you receive it.
A Flowery Collection Challenge
A Collection Challenge to collect themed Pokémon will be available! Complete the challenge to contribute to your Elite Collector medal and earn 2,000 XP, 2,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Togetic wearing a flower crown.
New Stickers
New stickers featuring event-themed Pokémon will be available. You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop. These stickers will be available for the remainder of the Season!
