Pokemon Legends Arceus launched less than two weeks ago on Nintendo Switch worldwide, and it was a mostly smooth launch, with very few critical issues. Still, no game is truly perfect, and so developer Game Freak is hard at work to iron out the bugs that made it into the final version of the game.
Today, update 1.0.2 has gone live in all regions, introducing fixes for a variety of issues. Here are the full notes.

Pokemon Legends Arceus update 1.0.2 is a minor update, so it doesn’t introduce new content or new features to the game. Still, the update does introduce some fixes for a few issues to improve the experience.
Among the fixes introduced by the Pokemon Legends Arceus 1.0.2 update is a fix for an issue that caused the screen to freeze after trying to pick a lost satchel while offline by throwing out a ball that contains a Pokemon, a fix for an issue that made catching Cherrim more difficult than intended and more. The update also fixes a glitch that allows players to obtain Pokemon twice.

- Fixed an issue where, while offline, the screen could freeze after trying to pick up a lost satchel by throwing out a ball that contains a Pokémon.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes made it difficult to catch Cherrim.
- Fixed an issue where a certain event would not occur during a particular Mission, preventing the scenario from proceeding as intended.
- Fixed an issue where players could obtain certain Pokémon twice instead of once only as intended, prohibiting the player from obtaining other certain Pokémon. The relevant Pokémon will appear for players who were unable to catch those certain Pokémon due to this issue.
