Pokémon Sword And Shield is receiving excellent post-launch support with free updates and paid expansions that have imporved the experience considerably since the games’ release last year. While nothing new was expected for the game this year, developer Game Freak went on to surprise us with a new update that is now live worldwide.
The 1.3.1 update seems to be a very small download, so do not expect any major addition to the games. Full update notes have yet to be shared, but according to Nintendo Life, the new update is mostly focused on bug fixes.
The Pokémon Sword And Shield 1.3.1 has been likely released to fix issues that may have been introduced to the game with the Crown Tundra DLC expansion. This expansion brings a brand new area to explore and tons of additional Pokémon to catch. The expansion also marks the return of all Legendary Pokémon that have appeared in the series so far.
Pokémon Sword And Shield is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
