Support players unite! Blissey, Pokémon Unite’s upcoming support character, has finally been given an official release date: August 18, which is tomorrow (or today in some parts of the world). The official Pokémon Unite Twitter account revealed the news on August 16, as you can see here:
On August 18, Pokémon Unite will undergo maintenance to prepare for the patch. This update patch will not only add Blissey as a playable character, but it will also bring about some balance changes to some of your favorite Pokémon. The update patch will go live at approximately August 18 at 7:00 UTC. You’ll need to close out of the game entirely to update.

Blissey is a supporter Pokémon, as we mentioned. She brings a lot of healing and support to the table, so little Eldegoss isn’t the only healer in the show anymore! Blissey’s moves heal allies, increase their movement and attack speed, and shield them from incoming damage.
Will you try out Blissey first, or check out if your favorite Pokémon has been changed in some way? Let us know when the Blissey update patch drops on August 18!
