Pokemon Unite: How to Get and Use the Score Shield

Pokemon Unite’s Score Shield is an average B Tier held item that awards shield to the player while they attempt to score a goal. The item is best used on Pokemon who aren’t afraid of getting in on the action.

The Score Shield grants a goal scoring Pokemon a shield equal to a certain percentage of its maximum HP, while also ensuring the player cannot be interrupted while scoring the goal.

Players can purchase the Score Shield for 1000 Aeos coins or 625 Aeos tickets.

Score Shield

The level of the item determines the percentage of the max. HP is given as shield:

  • Level 1 = 5%
  • Level 10 = 7.5%
  • Level 20 = 10%

Score Shield stats increase with each level-up just like any other item all the way up to level 30. Level 10 gives HP +150, Level 20 gives HP +300 and Level 30 gives HP +450. It costs 2587 Item Enhancers to upgrade the item to its fullest (level 30).

Snorlax

The best Pokemon to play with this item are Defender type Pokemon such as Snorlax or a Speedster like Zeraora. Snorlax already has shield abilities and can block opponents so can be an unstoppable goal-scorer with the Score Shield. Zeraora is a lightning quick and when combined with Attack Weight they could be a great asset to late-game scoring.
