Project V Release Date
Considering that Project V has been announced only recently on April 28, 2023, we still have a long way to go before we finally lay our hands on this battle royale experience. The announcement tweet on the project’s official Twitter account stated that the game is coming in 2024 without any additional detail.
Considering that projects of this magnitude take some time, we wouldn’t be surprised if the game gets released by the end of the next year. At this point, we will just have to stay tuned for the updates.
Project V Game Modes
The team of content creators who stands behind Project V wants to create the best battle royale experience as they rely on their extensive experience playing different BR titles throughout the years. However, they are adamant about letting their huge fan base provide valuable input regarding the direction of the project.
Since the game is in the very early stages of development, we cannot know for sure what game modes it will include. Nevertheless, there has already been a poll on Project V Twitter about players’ preferences in terms of whether the game should have a first-person or third-person mode or both. As of the moment of writing, the ‘all-inclusive’ option is in the lead, followed by the first-person mode. We will have to wait and see if the creators will honor the voice of the people in the end.
Project V Platforms
There’s no official information about all the platforms that will support Project V when it finally gets out. Considering that the game will be developed using Unreal Editor For Fortnite (UEFN), we can assume Project V, just like Fortnite, will be available on:
- Windows
- macOS
- PlayStation 4 & 5
- Xbox One & Series X/S
- iOS
- Android
Even though Project V will make use of Epic Games’ new game-developing tool, the creators plan to make it different from Fortnite thanks to upcoming UEFN features that should allow for more diverse experiences, as stated by SypherPK during a Twitter Q&A session.
