Just like any other shooter game, PUBG Mobile keeps updating itself and introducing new content regularly. PUBG Mobile v1.6 update was awaited with bated breath as some massive changes were rumored. The snow-clad map Vikendi was speculated to make a comeback.
Considering the excitement, PUBG Mobile did not disappoint. The update introduced Flora Menance Mode, AI Mode, Bots Lobby, and much more. And yes, Vikendi is back with all its snow.
Top 5 Tips for Playing Vikendi 2.0 in PUBG Mobile
Land in the right place
If you are in a squad, then you can afford to land on Castle. With a squad and some of the right weapons, you can take over the Castle. However, if you are a solo, passive player, try to land in areas like Cosmodrome. To get some early action, you can land on Goroka or Dobro Mesto.
Grab a Snowmobile
There’s no way you will survive the frozen map with a regular vehicle. Obviously, the map has snowmobiles for a reason. Snowmobiles are quite smooth over snow, but note that they are very noisy over roads. If you don’t want to attract attention, don’t use snowmobiles on roads.
Pine trees are great covers
The pine trees in PUBG Mobile’s Vikendi are quite dense. You can grab a sniper, crouch, or lie down and ambush opponents stealthily.
This also goes the other way around. Some enemies might already be crouching in the pine trees, ready to lunge at you.
Get your preferred guns
Interestingly, Vikendi is loaded with SMGs and Snipers. If you are high up on the castle or crouching in the forest, get a sniper with scope. However, you are likely to face more close-quarter combat. Try to get your hands on SMGs and ARs too.
Camouflage
As the map is white, avoid wearing dark or bright colors. In fact, avoid anything that would stand out against the white scenery. Go for lighter outfits that blend into the background.
